[Goldenglue] Mazinger Z

Let's take another break from Gundam and look into its cousin in the Giant Robot/Mecha genre. Giant Robot usually refers to humanoid machines controlled by a pilot from the cockpit, typically located in the chest or the head of the robot. The genre is subdivided into Super Robot and Real Robot - where the former is about a superhero robot with a supernatural and ethereal superpower. While the latter is a conventional robot with plausible tech albeit being too advance and futuristic.

Gundam is considered a Real Robot genre - although we don't possess the technology to build one, yet! Today the papercraft is about the first-ever Giant Robot/Super Robot piloted by a pilot from the cockpit - Mazinger Z, which was introduced in 1972.

This papercraft was modeled by Goldenglue, with 14 pages of template and a PDO instruction. Click below to download the file.
