[Satasun] SD Mazinkaiser

 

Mazinkaiser is actually an updated version of Mazinger Z in the Super Robot Wars F Final Chapter - a video game released for Sega Saturn and Playstation in the late 90s. In the game, the Mazinger Z evolves into Mazinkaiser through the use of Getter Rays.

Mazinkaiser was later released as OVA in 2001 based on the original game design. The OVA maintains the characters from Mazinger - Kouji Kubota, Tetsuya Tsurugi, and the rest of the team in fighting Dr. Hell's Mechanical Beasts.
