The GAT-X102 Duel Gundam is the first mobile suit developed for the G Project. As the first Gundam unit, the Duel becomes a testbed for the development of the other four mobile suits. For this reason, the Duel has no special abilities nor fancy equipment. Instead, it was built for balance performance and combat ability. The Duel is was one of the Gundam stolen during the ZAFT's invasion of Heliopolis and was assigned to Yzak Joule. Being a general-purpose mobile suit the Duel performed quite well during the war. It survived the confrontation with the Strike, in which it was later upgraded with the Assault Shroud - a set of ejectable armor system. The Duel continues to serve in a few battles before being decommissioned after the war has ended. 

This papercraft was modeled by Rino Liha, though it was only a bust model - meaning it only comes with the head and torso part. Click below to download the template.
