Gundam SEED - Cosmic Era (CE)

There's only a few Gundam series that have such a divided fandom as Gundam SEED - some people love it, others hate it (I'm talking about worldwide reception). The same thing cannot be said about its sequel, SEED Destiny though, cause everybody hates it. For me, I love SEED due to its nostalgic value, and it introduced me to the Gundam universe. Some fans considered it mediocre at best, I called it a missed opportunity to make CE the new UC. The show started promising, engaging the same concept of the original Gundam series - the gruesome nature of war and how it affects your morality. They try to emphasize that there's no good and bad guy here, only three factions in a war. However, it is weird how the show comes up with Coordinator and SEED capabilities but doesn't even bother to explain and explore this theme more - unlike the concept of Newtype in UC. What the show gives you are plenty doses of edgy whiny teens. This makes me remember why I partly hate SEED. One thing we can all agree though there are two good things that come out of SEED - the Gundams and the music. Invoke is the best Gundam opening, ever.

This is yet another SD version of GAT-X105 Strike Gundam, this time modeled by CrazyHand. What's different in this model is that you'll have to build it frame first using cardboard, and then cover this frame with the paper template. Which does makes it feels like building a gunpla kit itself.
