[Kyuri] Mazinkaiser

 

Today we will feature the Mazinkaiser papercraft modeled by Kyuri. Mazinkaiser is larger compared to Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger by few meters and is equipped with heavy body armor. It was built by Dr. Juzo Kabuto, the grandfather of Kouji Kabuto as well as the creator of Mazinger Z and the finalized Great Mazinger (because apparently, the initial Great Mazinger was a prototype made by Dr. Kenzo Kabuto - Kouji's father).

One of the distinct features of a Mazinger is its V-shaped "Wing". Well, actually Mazinger Z (as well as Mazinkaiser) cannot fly under its own power. The "wing" is called a Kaizer Scrander. The Scrander docks with Mazinkaiser to give it the flight ability. In other words, it is a jetpack/jet booster thingy.
