What distinguishes the Strike Gundam from its other counterparts is the Striker Packs, a set of backpacks with different armaments to serve a different role in combat. What's so cool about this is that the Striker Packs can be exchanged mid-battle, making the Strike the most versatile Gundam among the original five G Project's Gundams. The Striker Packs not only changes the dynamic of the battle but also allows the extension of Strike's operational time with its on-board battery. Because the Strike Gundam is similar to an old iPhone, it'll run out of battery in no time - having a power bank is handy.

There are three Striker Packs developed by the Earth Alliance for Strike Gundam:

• AQM/E-X01 Aile Striker - basically a jetpack with thrusters. Kira mostly used this pack in his battle.
• AQM/E-X02 Sword Striker - as the name suggests, this pack is equipped with a huge *ss sword.
• AQM/E-X03 Launcher Striker - utilize for long-range attack with its equipped cannon and guns.

Yes, there are other Striker Packs developed later on but only these three are widely used by Lord Kira.
