[One Piece] SD MBF-P03R Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise

If you watched Gundam SEED, then you will know that series opened with the raid on Heliopolis by ZAFT forces to steal the Earth Alliance's mobile suits under the G Project. Though Orb Union is generally a neutral nation,  Morgenroete Inc., the union munitions company collaborated with the Atlantic Federation to build the Gundams in Heliopolis. Unbeknown to both Earth Alliance and ZAFT, the company secretly copied the technologies provided by the Alliance to build their own mobile suits. They successfully copied the G Project beam rifle and saber technology but were unable to get their hand on the Phase Shift armor blueprint. To compensate for this, the mobile suits were designed to be lighter and more agile than the G Project's Gundams.

Orb Union successfully made their own mobile suit series: the "MBF-P" (Main Battle Figure - Prototype): "Astray" series. As how it goes with the other prototype units, the data obtained from the prototype suits were later used in the development of the mass-produced MBF-M1 Astray, the mobile suit that we saw in SEED.

There are five prototype models of the MBF-P series:

1. MBF-P01 Gundam Astray Gold Frame

2. MBF-P02 Gundam Astray Red Frame

3. MBF-P03 Gundam Astray Blue Frame

4. The unassembled MBF-P04 Gundam Astray Green Frame 

5. MBF-P05 Gundam Astray Unit 5 (which later become the MBF-P05LM Gundam Astray Mirage Frame).

The papercraft is the SD version of the MBF-P03R Gundam Astray Blue Frame 2nd Revise modeled by One Piece. Don't be fooled by the size, although it only comes with 21 pages on the non-colored template the details on this model are truly amazing. Click the link below to download the template.
