[Lou Dog] G1 Hot-Rod

Hot-Rod is the result of Hasbro getting greedy and killing off a lot of fan favorites Autobots in Transfomers: The Movie so that they can sell new toys. Being a flashy, fiery-red sport car, he rises to overcome the challenge of defeating both Galvatron and Unicron and saves the Autobots from a certain peril. 

He, however, is tremendously famous for becoming one of the most hated/disliked Autobots ever. Mainly because:

1: He got Optimus killed.

2: He was a dorky character before becoming Prime.

3: He doesn't look cool as a Prime

4: He's not leader material in Season 3, as we can see that Ultra Magnus is better at leading the Autobots.

5: He's lack of character growth

Hot-Rod does not deserve all this hate, though. He's just a product of bad writing and bad studio decisions.
