[Tos-craft, Papershof] G1 Bumblebee

 

Before the world sees the cool Camarro-Bumblebee in the Bayverse movies, Bumblebee was first known as the little yellow Autobot that everyone loves. He might be small, and he may not be the strongest, but he is brave and loyal and respected by his peers. Bumblebee is the Autobot's spy and scout, and his talents involve espionage.

Not so long after awakening on Earth, Bumblebee befriends the Witwicky family, who helps with the Autobot cause. Bumblebee survived Unicron's attack on Cybertron and remained in action during the leadership of Rodimus Prime. When Bumblebee was damaged badly during the Hate Plague outbreak in 2006, he had to be rebuilt into a new form, Goldbug.

Bumblebee has an identical twin (at least in their robot appearance) in the name of Cliffjumper, though they transformed into a different car in vehicle mode. Why they look alike in robot form while not being related was never explained.
