[Hikaru11] GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam

GAT-X207 Blitz Gundam is one of the five mobile suits developed by the Earth Alliance for their G Project. Stolen by ZAFT, the unit was piloted by Nicol Amalfi (a nice guy), a member of Le Creuset Team. With the rest of the stolen prototype mobile suits, Blitz joined the operation to pursue the Archangel to capture the Strike Gundam. I'm still pondering why does ZAFT decided to chase the Strike when they already have other FOUR Gundams in their hands?! I mean, yeah they are probably scared that the Strike and its technology may turn the tide of the war and give the Alliance an advantage. But ZAFT has been more technologically advanced in mobile suits anyway and now that you have four Gundam prototypes in your possession you still have the upper hand in this conflict.

But no, despite having more Gundams than the Alliance, and suffered several casualties on their side, they decided to follow the Archangel all the way to Earth to retrieve the Strike.  I'm guessing that all this happens due to Rau Le Creuset's ego and madness. Number one, he hates losing - he came to steal five Gundams, so he has to have ALL five. Number two, he hates one specific person on board the Archangel and willing to chase him to hell. Number three, he just wants the combat data from the prototype units so that ZAFT can develop their very own Gundam (which they did later on) - by sacrificing the lives of his team members. Such evil.
