[HCF] RX-77-2 Guncannon

We have a standard version papercraft of the RX-77-2 Guncannon today, modeled by HCF. The Guncannon is one of the mobile suits that survived the Zeon attack on Side 7 and was stationed aboard the White Base. It was piloted by civilian-turned-soldier Kai Shiden. He is the type of side character that you'll hate because of his cynical, pessimistic, and cowardly attitude. And of course, due to this obnoxious behavior, he received a lot of slaps and punches from his peers and others. Well deserved, I guess. He is the kind of friend that you don't like but keep him around just to make the group more fun.

Like other civilians aboard the ship, he resented being forced as a pilot and attempted to flee the White Base. He then met his love interest Miharu Ratokie which would later join him at the White Base fighting the Zeons. She was initially a Zeon spy that tries to infiltrate the ship and find the location of Jaburo. During a surprise attack by Zeon, Miharu got a change of heart and fight alongside Kai to protect the ship. She dies in the attack and this becomes the turning point in Kai's life. He overcomes his grief and becomes a man that cares for and protects his friends until the end of the One year War. After the war ended he become a freelance journalist and investigative reporter.
