[Toyoppe] SD FX-9900-D G-Bit D.O.M.E

 

After War Gundam X focuses a lot on Newtypes compared to the other series. The series protagonist - Garrod Ran, however, is not a Newtype. Instead, his love interest, Tiffa Adill is a powerful Newtype that makes her a target of different factions throughout the story.  As a sub-pilot of Garrod's Mobile Suit, Tiffa can launch attacks only the Newtype can do, such as the Satellite Cannon. 

The first ever Newtype was discovered by UNE, where his body was disassembled (more like dismembered), then taken apart on a genetic level for research purposes, and finally, his consciousness was implanted into the D.O.M.E system on the moon. The lunar base on the moon was under D.O.M.E protection even after the 7th War ended, where he controlled the FX-9900-D G-Bit D.O.M.E units, similar to how the Gundam X controlled its Bits.

The main differences between the GX-Bit and the G-Bit D.O.M.E are its Satellite Cannon and the two reflector panels on its back. As an unmanned mobile suit tasked to protect the D.O.M.E the G-Bit D.O.M.E acts more as a defender unit than an assault type.
